I am running Oracle 11G with ArcSDE v10.1. There seems to be a difference in the Layer_ID between ArcSDE and through Oracle when I query a layer. When Ido a sdelayer -o describe_long -l abc.ROADS,shape... on a table I may get a layer_id of 90, but if I check through sqlplus, we see the layer_id = 89, so off by 1. Have u seen this before? It is new for me.
