Relationship class in personal geodatabase - TABLE DISAPPEARS after editing.

I'm having trouble with a relationship class in a personal geodatabase. I have a line feature class and a table. I created a relationship class between the two using a RECORDID field. I can bring the data into a map and start editing both line feature class and table data. I saved my edits and then went back to make a few more changes and the table is gone. I cannot see the table in ArcCatalog. The map that was referencing the table does not show it as missing (no red exclamation point) but I cannot find the table.

I tried recreating all the data again, and the same thing has happened to me twice now. Always after an edit session. Does anyone have any ideas as to anything I'm doing wrong? Where does the table go? I need to keep my data!
