Real time Tuning ArcSDE

Good Day Admin's,

I was wondering the things to be considered in Tuning ArcSDE
current environment is
RHEL 6.2, Oracle 11g, ArcSDE 10.1

Can you please share the real time tuning methods / routine strategy to be taken under consideration for the optimum results.
