Does anyone have any idea about when or why not ArcSDE would be certified on zlinux (SLES or RHEL).
Now, ArcSDE is only supported linux on:
Linux x86, on CPUs that adhere to the x86 architecture (32-bit), with supported Linux releases
Linux x86_64, on CPUs that adhere to the x86_64 architecture (64-bit), with supported Linux releases
Now, my real question is:
Can I use
Oracle db server(zlinux, SLES11SP2 for mainframe, Oracle 11gr2) + Arcgis server(windows) + APP server(windows or linux, weblogic) to deliver a three-layers application architecture for an GIS system.
Someone told me it's impossible because the ArcSDE is not certified on zlinux, there are 3 lib file should be put into the Oracle db lib link:
libst_shapelib.so
libpe.so
libsg.so
Is this true?
